Franklin Canyon State Park

Franklin Canyon is situated between Sherman Oaks/Studio City in the north and Beverly Hills/West Los Angeles in the south. This park has lush trails with forests of eucalyptus, oak, and sycamore trees. There is a lake and a pond with ducks, small streams, wildflowers, and city views. The park is divided into Upper and Lower Franklin. Upper Franklin has the most to offer with a small botanical garden (William O. Douglas Outdoor Classroom), a Nature Center, Franklin Canyon Lake, Heavenly Pond, and several lush trails. Lower Franklin has Franklin Canyon Ranch Site, one small and one long trail. At the top of the long trail you are able to see parts of Beverly Hills/West Los Angeles.
