Topanga State Park - Trippet Ranch

Topanga State Park offers 9,000 acres of spectacular vistas, rugged peaks and canyons, sunny slopes and cool streambeds located just west of Los Angeles between the San Fernando Valley and the Pacific Ocean. Trippet Ranch is the headquarters for Topanga State Park and features a park office, ranger residence and nature center (open on Sundays 12:00 to 4:00 pm). The grounds offer shaded picnic areas, drinking water and restrooms. Check the bulletin board at the far end of the parking lot for maps of the area. There are numerous hiking trails--some easy, some strenous.
