Directions to Solstice Canyon

From San Fernando Valley

From the Ventura Freeway (101) take the Las Virgenes Road exit and drive south until it ends on Pacific Coast Highway by the ocean. Turn right on Pacific Coast Highway and drive upcoast (west) 3.5 miles until Corral Canyon Road, and turn inland (north). At the first bend in the road, about 0.2 miles, is the entrance to the park on your left. Because the park is closed to vehicles until sometime in 2003, you will need to find a place to park along the road. This may take you all the way back to the Pacific Coast Highway. Walk into the park and stay on the right of two paved roads for another 0.3 miles until you reach some ranger office buildings and trailer homes. This is the starting point of the park's major trails.
