A Christian will honor a liar when he or she attends a mixed marriage
wedding. The believer marrying a non-believer is clearly violating God's
command not to do such a thing ("Do not be mismated with unbelievers"
2 Corinthians 6:14). To say "I know him" and disobey God's clear
command labels that individual as a liar.
1 John 2:4 He who says "I know him" but disobeys his commandments
is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
