Introduction. Compares the Textus Receptus used in the Nestle Aland/United Bible Society Text.

Verse Nestle Aland Textus Receptus Notes
Mat. 1:25   TR says Jesus was Mary's "firstborn" son, which implies that Mary had other sons later. This truth exposes the error of the doctrine of perpetual virginity.

In the TR the rich young ruler calls Jesus "Good Master" and Jesus responds asking the ruler, "Why callest thou me good? There is none good but one, that is God."
Mat. 20:16   TR includes "for many be called, but few chosen."
